About Us
It all started for us in 1980, where Elroy purchased 3 halfblood Salers from Fred Foxwell. What attracted Elroy to the breed was the weaning weights of the calves in the fall, milking quality and calving ease.
Looking back, some of our best cow lines trace back to our original investments with Foxwell.
Our focus for the last 20 years has been selling quality bulls off the farm that bring calving ease, solid weigh ins, and good temperament to our customers.
In the spring of 2020, we were honored to receive the Canadian Salers Association Purebred Breeder of the Year.
What makes us excited about the future? As 2023 approaches, the Canadian Salers Association celebrates 50 years. We continue to work hard to increase weaning weights for the commercial cattle person, a continual focus on calving ease & a mandate to keep up education and awareness on the breed, including significant improvements over the years.
